Job Summary:
- Provides support to hospital's financial and administrative users through planning, testing, training, troubleshooting, and understanding. Knowledge of billing office work flow and 837 claim processing is beneficial.
- Provides coordination, definition, education, communication, implementation, and maintenance of computer applications.
- Monitors service desk system to assist users with concerns.
- Devise solutions and translate into efficient, effective, and practical computer applications.
- Provides accurate and timely communication for our users with outstanding questions.
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
- This is a full-time, Monday - Friday position.
- Some travel is required. Must have valid driver's license.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Educational requirements include a BS/BA in computer science, business, or other healthcare related field or equivalent healthcare experience.
- Hospital business office, electronic transactions for healthcare, and/or revenue cycle improvement experience is required.

Riverwood Healthcare Center is a 24-bed Critical Access Hospital with three full service clinics, over 35 highly qualified physicians, specialists and surgeons providing the latest, most advanced healthcare with the personalized service our patients need.
As a regional leader in EMR and the advancement of clinical information systems, we are seeking to expand our Information Technology department aligning this critical function with our executive team through the addition of a Chief Information Officer. This position will direct and manager computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for data processing, computer services, network communications and management information services to accomplish Riverwood's goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning and execution with knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management, as well as, solid experience with implementing information technology integrations within a healthcare system.
Education and experience qualifications include: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (Masters preferred) with 3 - 5 years experience in a senior level Information Technology position required; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong strategic planning and creativity.
